HTML & CSS reference

, ,

Highlighting without extra importance: `` in bold, `` in italics, `` underlined.

Syntax

bold italic underlined

Examples

A keyword, a term and an error mark:

Espresso is a strong coffee made under pressure.

The Italian word barista means bartender.

I like coffe in the morning.

Notes

Unlike and , these tags add no importance. suits terms, foreign words and titles; suits keywords and product names. is easy to mistake for a link, so it is rare — for example, to mark a spelling mistake.
